Ingredientsbasil pesto

  • 1 bunch basil
  • 4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/2 cup pinenuts
  • pinch salt

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 250 deg
  2. Place pinenuts in the over on a lined baking tray and cook for approx 3-4 minutes*
  3. In a blender, add all ingredients and blend until smooth
  4. Add to your favourite pasta or have with crackers

* The pinenuts will cook quickly and can burn easily so keep an eye on them!
