- 1 bunch basil
- 4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- juice of 1 lemon
- 1/2 cup pinenuts
- pinch salt
- Preheat oven to 250 deg
- Place pinenuts in the over on a lined baking tray and cook for approx 3-4 minutes*
- In a blender, add all ingredients and blend until smooth
- Add to your favourite pasta or have with crackers
* The pinenuts will cook quickly and can burn easily so keep an eye on them!
