Ingredientschilli soy salmon

  • 1 piece salmon
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp chilli flakes
  • salt & pepper
  • 1/2 cup cooked quinoa
  • 1 cup rocket
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes
  • 1 capsicum chopped
  • 1 cucumber chopped
  • olive oil
  • balsamic vinegar


  1. To make the salad: mix all ingredients in a bowl and drizzle with olive oil and balsamic
  2. To cook the salmon: heat a pan over high heat
  3. Add the coconut oil and the piece of salmon
  4. Add the soy sauce, chili flakes, salt & pepper
  5. Sear the salmon on all sides (especially the skin, if you have a piece with skin on)
  6. Once all sides are golden, use a fork to flake the salmon (sometimes it may be a little difficult to come apart, but it will)
  7. Cook the flaked salmon until crispy
  8. Add to salad and serve
